Online Information Session – Concorde Cohousing in Ottawa
May 26, 2020. 7-9pm EDT. Ottawa, ON. Online.
A creative form of housing community that is gaining momentum in BC and the US is Cohousing. The concept started in Denmark and was brought to North America by Kathryn McCamant and Charles Durrett. This model of community connects people to reduce loneliness and social isolation.
Concorde Cohousing is a multi-generational cohousing community forming in Ottawa. We rescheduled a free public information session at Hintonburg Community Centre to Tuesday, May 26, 7-9 pm but in view of the current situation, it will now be an online meeting on Zoom.
Join us for some short videos and a presentation about Concorde Cohousing and another presentation by architect Chris Kailing who worked for McCamant & Durrett Architects and was the architect for Prairie Spruce Commons Cohousing in Regina, SK. More details including zoom information will be provided when it is finalized.
