General Description

We have 12 occupied, owner-built homes and a Common House on 50 beautiful acres a few miles out of Nelson, above Kootenay Lake. Within the 50 acres are two acres of deer fenced garden land. Households own their own lots plus equal share in approximately 25 commonly held acres. The Common House is a renovated barn with kitchen, large dining/meeting space, guest room, office and children's play areas, and a newly added fitness centre. Currently we share 2 meals per week in the common house.
